Natural Retreats is hiring a Vice President of Revenue Management to join our team! This business critical role directly impacts profitability for both Natural Retreats and its homeowners through strategic pricing, data-driven decision-making, and effective leadership of the Revenue Management (RM) function.

The Vice President of Revenue Management (VPRM) provides strategic leadership and direction to department Directors and Senior Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and consistent execution across teams. Aligning the strategic direction of the Revenue Management department with the company’s broader business objectives, the VPRM ensures that revenue strategies are clearly communicated, consistently implemented, and continuously optimized through the use of effective tools, technologies, and best practices. 

This role is responsible for driving revenue performance across all Natural Retreats locations, maximizing the potential yield on a per-home basis. The VPRM leads the day-to-day and long-term execution of pricing and yield strategies, oversees assigned personnel, facilitates regular revenue calls, monitors market trends, and supports cross-functional collaboration. This role also requires hands-on support as needed to ensure departmental and company objectives are met.

COMPENSATION: Starting range is $120,000 - $135,000. Final compensation will be commensurate upon experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Prioritize departmental initiatives and expectations of Rev. Mgmt. (RM) personnel by yield impact.
  • Develop the annual RM strategic plan, including goals, initiatives, and success metrics.
  • Proactively assess and implement new tools and resources to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Review weekly dynamic forecasts, budget comparisons, and performance variances; recalibrate strategies as needed.
  • Ensure day-to-day yield operations are conducted accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform competitive benchmark studies and keep abreast of market trends.
  • Ensure seasonality and rates per market are derived, reviewed, and uploaded in a timely manner  to capitalize onbooking windows.
  • Meet with Revenue Managers on a weekly basis to review summary reports, address concerns,  and set/reset expectations/goals.
  • Work collaboratively with department heads to ensure all are aware of and understand relevant  RM strategies and how they affect and integrate with their departments. 
  • Attend/Lead regular Revenue Calls and develop and implement strategic and tactical actions.
  • Educate and support General Managers and Property Managers on RM strategies to support homeowner conversations; participate directly in owner discussions as needed.
  • Ensure best practice standards are applied to competitor analysis, environmental scanning, marketmodeling, distribution yield management, business mix yield management, length of stay yield  management, inventory availability by channel, pricing control, and new pricing concepts.
  • Assist RM personnel with any/all hands on tasks as necessary to hit targets and/or achieve goals  as set by department or company at large. 
  • Ensure effective use of the property management system so that rates and restrictions are accurately maintained across all distribution channels.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities. 
  • Foster and champion a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc revenue reporting as required.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing which may include drug testing and/or background screening 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) with intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Experience working with a geographically diverse business with multiple locations  
  • Experience with Wheelhouse and KeyData
  • Proficient at developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated competence in and penchant for leadership through coaching/mentoring
  • Sound ability and knowledge to develop standards of operations and strategic processes
  • Strong understanding of statistics and statistical modeling 


POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position eligible for remote work. Natural Retreats’ core business hours for our support offices are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasionally, project work or other responsibilities may require the Team Member to work outside of this schedule.
